The role of the SRC is to provide students with a voice within the school and the wider community. The SRC aims to bridge the gap between teachers and students to create an environment of respect and action, which is aided through communication.
The SRC’s primary purpose is to raise money for the school and national organisations, such as the Breast Cancer Foundation and World Vision Australia, through fundraisers. Members of the SRC endeavour to provide effective leadership and positive role models for the school, constantly leading by example.
Members of the SRC are reviewed annually and a formal election is held to provide new students the opportunity to join the Council. Nominations begin late in Term 3.
SRC meetings are held on a weekly basis during DEAR.
Congratulations to SRC for 2016 – 17 below.
